Welcoming a New Partner

Litbreaker Media is happy to welcome Dragswolf to our network:

A blog focused primarily on literary works by indigenous creatives with some culture thrown in occasionally.

Hi, I’m Steve Dragswolf, an enrolled member of the Mandan, Hidatsa, & Arikara Nation born in North Dakota and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My heart is for the indigenous of the Americas. I am passionate about American Indian culture, literacy, and survival among Indian youth.

Litbreaker is happy to welcome Yellow Brick Reading to our network.

I started blogging about a year ago, I figure since I read a lot and already post reviews on Amazon I might as well start a blog. From there things lead to where I am today. While on the journey I have met some great people who helped me more than they can imagine. I post not only book reviews, I also participate in challenges and special events. There is always coming new going on, so be sure to check out the blog often, or sign up for the newsletter.

We extend a welcome to a new member of our network, Blunderbuss Magazine.

“We are Blunderbuss Magazine, a web magazine of arts, culture, and politics, an ordnance of fire and improvisation. What ties together these essays, stories, poems, photographs, comics, and other bits of aesthetic shrapnel is a common attitude of visceral humanism. We aim for earnest noise. We want to splash in the mud of lived experience, to battle for a radical empathy, and to provide a megaphone to howling assertions of human subjectivity.”

Litbreaker Media welcomes:

FICTION ADVOCATE

We use fiction all the time. It’s how we describe ourselves to friends, how we plan a route across town, how we judge candidates in an election, how we imagine what’s next. The fiction we encounter in books is a microcosm of the fictions we use throughout the day. Reading conditions us for life. To be a better reader is to be a better person.

Fiction Advocate is a community of people devoted to reading better. We make fiction, essays, and literary criticism. We publish books. We interview authors, critique new writing, comment on the publishing industry, and recommend films and music. We look to reading for a way forward in the world.
